Spelling bee-how to improve their spelling?

Most students have trouble when spelling a word. At RB students practise the words that they learning with fun games. My J1TC loves playing run dictation. They are divided into two groups. The first student of each team has to write a word that the teacher says as fast as they can but the word must be correct to score a point. I am sure they will ask to play this many times.
